COLOR!
Here are some of my favorite images based on COLOR! The above photo was caught, while I was trying to get a picture of Beatrice, and she kept ducking out of my photo…. What I LOVE about it, is the ladies hand in Henna, the turquoise and red floral sari, and just a glimpse of Beatrice with her shades on… HA HA! Her avoidance of my camera, turned out to be a beautiful picture that I might not have captured otherwise!
ENJOY!

They're all lovely, but the bird made me catch my breath. What a treat! Thanks for sharing a bit of your trip. I'm sure you'll post many more, and I absolutely look forward to it.
ReplyDeleteI like the blue bird of a different bend as well.
DeleteThe tiger!
ReplyDeleteSo fun! Thanks for sharing. My favorite photo for color is the white horse/green cart - Wow!
ReplyDeletethe pics are gorgeous! what are the ladies carryong on their heads? they look like cowpies??? i love the second picture with the colorful laundry hanging off houses and the white cow walkking along.....
ReplyDeleteThe colorful crowd in front of the white marbal Taj Mahal ... and the women sitting on the white marbal floor in their beautiful sarii ... and the shopkeeper ... and the bird!
ReplyDeleteToo difficult to pick just one!
If I have to pick just one, the bird! Beautiful colors and I'm a bird lover. Also, the color in all of the pictures is inspiring, but so is the architecture! The first picture...couldn't you see a quilt like that with beautiful quilting in the negative space in the center? I can.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your trip pictures, Victoria. I look forward to more.
Glad your back...missed your blog! :-)
All beautiful, but I love the tiger! So close - yikes!
ReplyDeleteThey are all beautiful. I think the one I like most is the man in his sweets stand. The one with the larger group of people sitting on the steps of the Taj is nice too. I'd call that group of people a crowd but in India that is certainly not a crowd of people! :-)
ReplyDeleteI like the one of the women carrying stuff on their heads while still maintaining a bright, wonderful style...and the mango sip...something about that pix I LOVE.
ReplyDeleteThe bird is just so beautiful!! I wonder how big it is? It looks like it might be a small bird.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are ALL fabulous! I think I like the one with you and a quilt on the elephant best. :-)
ReplyDeleteThere were 3 I really liked - the building shot from a distance, the bird and the group of people seated on the ground. That is a great picture of the bird caught in flight. Thanks for sharing, looks like you had a great trip.
ReplyDeleteOoooo, how to choose just one. I think the photo of the women carrying the cow dung on their heads. Says a lot about the Indian way of life. All great photos.
ReplyDeleteWow! The woman and child on the back of the motorbike gets my vote. Any photo that includes a hint of wind always make my heart skip. Take care, Byrd
ReplyDeleteOh the building with the laundry and cows ambling along. The the colorful crowd at the Taj and of course the tiger, eyes burning so bright.
ReplyDeleteso many wonderful photos, love to see the ladies in their bright cheerful clothes, so unlike the UK where most wear such dowdy colours. The tiger I think though steals it for me
ReplyDeleteFantastic... Want to see more!
