new spools of thread

12 sets of 12 that inspire me.

new fabrics

12 sharp pins

12 finished quilts

12 sharp basting pins

12 books I adore.

12 sharpies.... nothing better.

12 reproduction fat quarters....makes me want to sew, NOW.



12 knick-knacks who watch over me all day.

12 sharp blades

12 beads

 and best for last...
My Twelve year old....
She inspires me to be a better, mother, artist, role model, and human.

  5. I'm inspired to start journaling - Am I the only last person to do this? I make lists and jot notes, but I don't keep them, or journal on a regular basis. Love seeing the inspiration in your items, but I don't believe all of those spools of thread are new - heee heee!! You saved the best for last though, and I am reminded of always trying to be better myself when I see or hear things my daughter is doing with my granddaughters........ I must have done something right along the way.

  17. what a great idea for a creative prompt. i am turning off the computer and going to my sewing room to see what 12 things I can find in the next 15 minutes! By the way, thanks so much for my 15 minutes book, its changing my thinking about all kinds of things. its amazing what I can do in 15 minutes - im getting stuff done and freeing up time to play! yay!

  29. of course I had to smile at the 12 reproduction fabrics AND the 12 books almost all about antique quilts and the last one just precious.
