A QUICK FINISH! My Vintage star that cost $9.50, set in some SPINNING STICK ABSTRACT fabric from Alexander Henry, is quilted, bound, blocked and ready for the 4th! Very fitting don't you think? It looks especially good laying on my blue carpet! I stitched in the ditch all the diamonds, and did a sort of half moon/half baptist fan sort of combination on the quilting in the red. It's nice and puffy! Love it! It's very heavy, and really warm with the extra thick Quilters SUPREME cotton batting I used! It's about 55" square finished...
I didn't realize I matched the quilt and Holiday so well...STARS and STRIPES! Jenny Egg thought it was going to land on her head... See her cowering below there on her bed?
Last night we were laying in bed watching TV with the dogs at our feet... Kia, (our cavalier) SNORES, very loudly, and as we were laughing at how loud she was being, when her right paw extended straight up to the sky... and stayed there! She was fast asleep... To funny.
Happy 4th to all!
