Something freaky happened to my blog today, it disappeared having a weird error code...

Here's how to fix it.
log in to your dashboard > go to LAYOUT > EDIT HTML > expand widget
templates > copy the whole template text to a blank notepad file >
click REVERT WIDGET TEMPLATES TO DEFAULT > expand widget templates
back out again (if you need to) > delete everything and paste your
notepad code back in > save the template
It seems to have happened to a lot of people...

ReplyDeleteThat happened to me a few months ago and it took me by such surprise that I just closed everything and came back later in the day. The blog opened. Never happened again. Computers are sometimes a great mystery.
ReplyDeleteWhen I see that message, I just hit my back arrow and continue on my merry way. The message itself is usually an error. I never do the corrective stuff or tell them to send an error message. It's the gremlins playing a May Day fool on you (and all of us, occasionally).
