Quilting Arts TV

I got home last Thursday from Empty Spools in CA.  I had two days to get unpacked and prepared for a quick trip to Cleveland Sunday to shoot Quilting Arts TV on Monday.  I was quickly sewing samples step out shots and my Hubby came over to visit with me in the studio. Isn't that sweet?  He's such  good guy...I put him to work!  "Can you press these for me?"
hehe. Love.

By the way, I will be doing another five day class on Double Wedding Ring quilts at Empty Spools next year first session!  The class was a big hit, and so we added another! Hope you can come!

I shot two episodes!  I'll let you know when the shows will air. We did Curved piecing and Y seams with my SIZZIX dies! My Favs! ;-)
The best part was we got the show taped so quickly and I could fly home Monday afternoon!
 Fast trip!

Susan Brubaker Knapp was great, I had not seen her in a couple years so It was nice to catch up, and have a little sewing fun!

So now I am home, and unpacking, and REPACKING for a trip of a life time...
We are heading to Antarctica Wednesday with Natural Habitat!  YES! Whales, Penguins and Icebergs! OH MY!
No, not for quilting... Penguins don't quilt... yet.
Family trip, a real vacation!
Camping on the ice,(hmmm??)  kayaking, hiking... whale watching!  It should be very exciting!
I will probably not be posting, so pictures when I return!

We have done all of our big trips through Natural Habitat, and have enjoyed every one... I am sure this will not disappoint!
You may recall our past trips to: (click to see images)

  1. I'd love to go to Africa to see zebras - and all the other amazing animals - in the wild. But all that ice? Not so much for me. Hope you and your family have a marvelous time and I look forward to pics!
