Asilomar is always fun, but it would have been delightful if I could have been able to join you. Next best is seeing your photos. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.
Inspiring photos, layers of quilt parts. Isn't Asilomar a wonder? If you have time and a car, take the drive along the ocean cliffs, very beautiful, maybe crowds of sea lions barking down along the water line. I was there for a business meeting (a Southern CA woman in those days.) I have never forgotten it and it inspires me just thinking about it especially now that I live and quilt in hot dry TX.) Ooh, that looks like too much fun! Wish I'd been there! I'd sure love to take that class sometime! But first I've got to finish up all the things I started at QuiltCon!
