My SECOND class at QUILTCON WEST, is my Pies & Points class. We will use the SIZZIX die cut machine in class, (several of them) which means we can cut out QUICKLY many different fabrics for a parts department, and spend a lot of time PLAYING!!!

ANY OF THE SHAPES ABOVE can be used in your creation! ALL of the quilt below have been made using the ONE die. You will learn curved pricing, take that FEAR AWAY! These easy curves, much like a drunkard path, fly together, and we can play up, negative space, stash bust, go full on color, you name it!

This quilt, uses all the different shapes, a solid arc, a pieced arc and pie shaped centers...

Stash BUST! This quilt was made from many of the Japanese fabrics I bought while in Japan, I wanted to show them off, I took the same block and put saying in between them... Fast, easy, and super cute! Then I added a 1/4" circle in the corners to make my border! LOVE!!

Negative space!! Check it out! Using the Pieced Pint arcs, and the PIE center! and focus on the negative space! Let's play out the options! What else can we do??

Yes, Even the baskets are made from this die! I fussy cut 1/4 circles for the flowers,the solid arc is the handle, then played the reverse color, and then I swticheroo'd the blocks for this fun basket pattern!
