Anyhow, I actually watched your husband take the photo of you with Lace. That quilt is stunning. I made sure to have one of the ladies flip it over so I could see the back. 106. I’m reading this a day late but my choice about something nice would be that yesterday was the birthday of my beloved “borrowed daughter”, Kitt. She makes my life sweet and happy and PINK! Such a relief in this house of boys.
(I’m thrilled to see there is a DWR book. I am inspired, but a little daunted by the curves. I have only made three throw-sized quilt tops and three crib-sized tops, so I am a beginner.)

  108. Here's something nice: after six months of heartbreak involving a veterinary oncologist (so kind, but never someone you want to encounter three times in six month for three different dogs), yesterday we took our big boy to the vet for something normal, and got an ordinary report that all was well and not to worry and to go home and just keep loving him and taking good care of him and maybe even take a deep breath and relax a wee bit if that's possible. So, happy birthday to you, happy ordinary day to us!

  142. Great quilt gift from your hubby. Happy Birthday! Hard to find something nice to say today (unusual for me, it's been a bad 2 days, doggy wise). Hmmm... it's finally 70 degrees and sunny today! That's really nice. Missionary friends asked about a DWR quilt to replace the one they have (25 years old, and starting to fall apart from use). I thought of you. Wish they could afford one from you. I've done very little curved piecing so far. I do want to make one one day.
