You won a copy of Sam's book!
ENJOY!
This has been so fun!! The buckets and the letters...a blast!! Thanks for participating in showing off these totally cool words and promoting this fun book!
ReplyDeleteTeal !!
ReplyDeletePurple, purple, purple!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to sort your scraps by color! All the projects you showed look so fun!
ReplyDeleteI'd have to say my favorite is orange. Lately it's all about the orange with me, I'm just drawn to it!
Neat idea. Guess I am partial to purple since I painted my sewing room a Lavendar shade.
ReplyDeleteI just love the idea of having all these great looking buckets with their pretty colors. I think these would make great learning tools for my 2 yr old granddaughter too for learning colors and words. Of course, I'll need to teach her to learn PURPLE first since that's my favorite color. lol I've already been working on that color with her and when we are doing colors and we get to purple, we stop and say "Purple! YAY PURPLE!!!" she puts her hands up in the air and says it really loudly. It's too cute.
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with all of these fun baskets and have downloaded each one faithfully every day! My favorites though are the ones on her book - Full of Knit, and Oh Scrap! I really need both of those buckets right now, today, in my studio :) Thanks so much for sharing in the blog hop & giveaway. You have inspired me many times in my quilt and fabric choices over the past few years :)
ReplyDeleteThese are all so fun! I would make an orange one first ; )
ReplyDeleteI Like BLUE. This is a great idea for organizing scraps and then you can play, play, play.
ReplyDeleteI love RED!
ReplyDeleteI'm currently in yellow mode!
ReplyDeleteI am always drawn to blue even though I try to reach out to other colors........so I guess blue must be me.
ReplyDeleteI love the blue! I even have some of those prints in my stash!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway and the reply info. I reluctantly fell in love with GREY and the way it pushes colors. mmmmmm color.
ReplyDeleteOrange! Another quilter told me each quilt you make must contain even a small piece of orange for good luck! Jezibels at att dot net
ReplyDeleteYellow is my favorite but right now red would definitely be fuller!
ReplyDeleteI don't know what happened to my first post, it just sort of disappeared! So if this is number two, you can delete one of them.
ReplyDeleteI love black. I add it to any quilt within sight of my machine! I also like grey, since it is a shade of black, but black is my go to color in clothing and quilts!
A touch of yellow sparks any combo, could it be a neutral? I think so, Love all the comments and projects from the bloggers.
ReplyDeleteOrange! Orange you glad I didn't say banana!
ReplyDeletePink! If I win the book and make the buckets, will you come to my house and help me sort fabric by colors? Pretty please!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love PINK!!
ReplyDeleteTeal would be my favorite!
ReplyDeleteI love the saying in the first 'saying' photo! I feel like I've personally been living that motto for the past year! For good or for bad (and sometimes they WERE bad :-) ) I've been making what my heart leads me to make. Even the ones that haven't been exactly what I envisioned have given me joy. Thanks for a great post!
ReplyDeleteBlue, blue, blue is my favorite color! Thanks for the opportunity. This looks like a FUN book to have.
ReplyDeletePurple is my favorite color! Thanks for the chance to win this awesome book! jacklynnsteven at netzero dot com
ReplyDeleteI can not wait to get started on a whole collection of buckets! I homeschool so I am going to make one for each of my girls to keep supplies in as well as a whole collection for my sewing area, functional and pretty. I love that Sam included an option for either an E or A in the grey bucket. And just in case: blackflowersacidrain (at) gmail (dot) com Thanks!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite bin is my turquoise bin - love that color! (with orange of course!)
ReplyDeleteI love the red one, because, well, it's RED!
ReplyDeletejen dot barnard at btinternet dot com
My favorite color is green..but to look at my stash you would think its blue. How did that happen?? =)
ReplyDeleteRight now my favorite bin color is blue! This could change at any moment however.
ReplyDeletePurple! Purple! Purple!
ReplyDeleteHi there! I have a terrible time deciding a favorite color - whatever I"m looking at at the time seems to be the one I like best - I'd probably make a rainbow basket!!! Thanks for a chance to win the book! And, I so enjoy your blog - I get it via email, and I love your smiling face as well as your style!

I love them all! Specially the HEXIES! I would make it with made fabrics in RED😉😉
ReplyDeleteReally hard to say. I want to say orange but that teal looks awesome too.
ReplyDeleteI like blue because you can never be blue with visions of quilts floating around your brain. And Quilt Talk I can do all day and night(at my age it beats "pillow talk.")
ReplyDeleteI need a bucket that just says "Scraps Happen!" Thanks for another great stop on the hop!
ReplyDeleteAn extra little thank you for the link to the "no-reply blogger" thing. I just can't seem to convince people that I'm really a nice person and I do reply to every single email. Assuming you give me the chance.
I would like to have a pink notions bucket. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI like the purple one because of the pattern of the fabric. But I LOVE your DWR quilts! Each one I see amazes me. I've never commented before, but giveaways usually draw me out :) and I just wanted to let you know how much I like your quilts. sarah@forrussia.org
ReplyDeleteI really like pink, but I think I like the blue one best. Thank you for the chance to win a copy of the book.
ReplyDeleteI think I like the blue one the best. thanks for the chance at the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteFor me its got to be YELLOW! It is a sweet, happy, sunny, lucky color.
ReplyDeleteI'm sewing a string quilt out of scraps right now and my most plentiful color is teal sew that must be my favorite!

I'm a red gal!! What's a quilt without a pop of red???
ReplyDeleteLove the Gary and Teak
ReplyDeleteI love the gray and my fav color, red!

Jalalonde@aol.com
I love the blue, orange and even the hexie one!
ReplyDeleteI love green. Although teal and orange are a close second. I'm so excited about this book - I have to make the Stars Wars quilt for my wife - when I told her I loved her for the first time she said "I know" (and didn't do it as a Star Wars reference).
ReplyDeleteMy favorite bin would be one that would say "stuff it" !
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity to win!
I love purple although it was hard to choose as they are all great.
ReplyDeleteNot sure I understand the question--my favorite bin is a big old rattan clothes hamper that is full to the brim with scraps. My favorite color changes all the time. Right now it is rusty orange.
ReplyDeleteIt is very hard to say but the color I come back to the most would be yellow so I am saying "yellow" Thanks for being part of the hop and the book looks wonderful....
ReplyDeleteI have to go for Yellow! Mostly because it's really hard to admit my favorite crayon was Burnt Sienna and who wants brown to be their favorite? Then again, if I see a mulberry anything, I want it.
ReplyDeleteI really like the blue one and the yellow and the teal and the....they are all pretty wonderful! Thanks for the chance to win.

ReplyDeleteNo doubt about it, my favorite color bin is purple! I love every shade of it and it follows me around like my shadow. As a teacher, my room's always been decorate in purple. Even my laundry room is purple! Love those bins!
ReplyDeleteI like the black bucket the best!
ReplyDeleteOrange would have to be my favorite!!
ReplyDeleteorange is my new fave color, so that would have to be my choice....but they are all cute!
