ReplyDeleteI'm loving today because there is sun. It's been SO LONG on that and I am trying not to stare directly toward it. Also it's a skippy day because I'm machine quilting a top for a friend and having to use monofilament thread in the top and it's cooperating too. Usually I have to say choice words. Win! Win!
ReplyDeleteI love everything history about quilts..well everything about quilts I guess. Quilt on!
The morning snow flurries that left a heavy dusting are now replaced by sunshine at lunch time!
ReplyDeleteI am packing a suitcase, taking the dog to the kennel, and then early tomorrow morning I will start my drive to Atlanta to spend the weekend with my daughter. Good prep day in anticipation of seeing my daughter. Packing a charity baby quilt to hand sew the binding as we sit and chat. My momma heart is full of joy.

Today in the Washington, DC area we had sunshine and warmth; two things that have been missing in our lives lately. It was a lovely day to celebrate Spring, and as I walked in Rock Creek Park I could see the beginnings of buds on many of the bushes and trees.
