Carin's Quilt in APQ: "PRETTY GRAPHIC"

SO FUN!!
My quilt was featured in February 2014 issue of American Patchwork & Quilting magazine! See my quilt, as well as other featured projects from this issue, here: http://www.allpeoplequilt.com/magazines-more/american-patchwork-quilting/american-patchwork-quilting-february-2014

I believe the issue hits newsstands Dec 3rd!

My "Quilter's Cairn" Quilt, aka: "Pretty Graphic" is in the magazine.  I just love this quilt.  Very bright happy and modern! I used some Nani Iro Japanese prints, along with a million whites and creams and greys, to set off the fun fabrics.  Great florals and fantastic polka dots!

Shelly Pagliai did some fantastic quilting on it for me! Of course I had to drop in some fabulous backing fabrics by Jennifer Paganelli... I love seeing a bright happy gorgeous print on the back, so when I crawl into bed, I'm covered in beauty head to toe!

I could crawl into that bed right now, and take a nap! How about you? ;-)

  1. I'm glad for the photo on a bed; it is such a different look than the usual spread out look (which is also important, of course). I think the modern borderless quilts are harder to visualize on a bed. 'Pretty Graphic" is beautiful both ways.

Happy Sewing and forget that nap until January :0)

  5. Such a fresh way of quilting Victoria! People rarely use a variety of whites and there really are thousands of whites in the fabric world today, why not right? PS your wall color is so peaceful!
