  2. Last night I cut fabric for my version of your new block, so that is what I'm working on today...besides my EPP hexies and my postage stamps. Never bored here!

  4. I am just finishing a denim art quilt inspired by seeing Hollis Chatelain's on tour day at QBL. I made my own design and need to tweak the process especially cutting out the seams and dealing with freezer paper in the seams.

  5. Just finished a small quilt for a guild challenge here in Virginia. The Richmond Quilt Guild will be hosting their quilt show in 2014. The challenge was to do something to represent our hometown, Richmond, VA. As a 9-year volunteer with the Richmond Folk Festival, of course I had to do that. Center is an embroidered guitar with narrow border of black with bright music notes, then narrow borders in our logo colors of lime, red and orange and a wider border of the same black print. These will hang at the Mid Atlantic show in Hampton, VA in February.

  7. I am currently working on a rainbow colored wonky star for my little sister. It is queen size and a treasured gift from me to her. At the age of 35, mother of three kids she signed up for the Army reserves. She was in the top of her class and I couldn't be more proud of her. Now to finish this darn thing up.

  9. I am almost done with my version of star splitter, started last February at a quilt camp! It is full of scraps from lots of people who also attended and shared. It started as a fun experiment with "made" fabric and turned into a full blown quilt. Can't wait to take it back to camp this February and show new friends what they contributed to when they donated their scraps! Thanks for the opportunity to win a fantastic experience! bjulovich@yahoo.com

  11. I would love to go to Quilters take Manhattan. I live in PA, so not too far away from the city. I am just starting a new project. Well, actually two. My nephews are being bar mitzvahed this year and I just found a pattern for football quilts. The pattern is from a recent magazine. I am going through my stash to find the appropriate green. If I don't have it, I am going to Philly quilt show next week and will find my green fabric there.

  12. Wow! What a great giveaway! Right now I am getting ready to layer a batting and backing on a small quilt I made with " path in the woods block" I used a mix of solid and pattern 1930 repro fabrics.
I would really like to make a version of your scrappy wedding ring quilt too.

  13. I'd love to come to your after hours gala! I am currently working on two Edyta Sitar quilts - the Common Bride. I chose to do this for the challenge of the piecing (lots and lots of 8 pointed stars!) and her Spools quilt with a friend!
