  2. Wow. What a beautiful box! Glad you had a nice visit. I've got to learn to drink heather tea. I love black tea, really black. I keep trying to drink green tea, but it tastes like flowers to me so I haven't made it yet. What is roasted brown rice? I think we'd love that.

  4. Adorable box! I am a coffee drinker in the morning and a tea drinker in the afternoon; I love herbal/fruit teas. My favorite right now is an apple-cinnamon blend. YUM! A spoonful of local honey in and it's perfect for a (southern hemisphere) winter afternoon!

i couldn't live without Harney & Sons Indian Spice tea. I add green cardamom pods to it. Vanilla Comoro is my 2nd fave and it's decaf. Tell us more about the green tea with toasted rice? I'm trying to drink green tea but i really prefer black.

  10. I love Bentley's Mango Gree Tea - both hot and cold. I go home after a long day at work and make myself a big pitcher of mango ice tea and then I can get to work around the house. I don't even have to sweeten it! I never heard of tea with brown rice. See - today's post was educational!

    The box is lovely!

  13. That box is divine!
Fruity black or herbal tea, iced.
I like the idea of hot tea, but after two sips it sits untouched and goes cold.
Green tea: *ptoey*, in any form or flavor.
Bottom line, my favorite tea is coffee.

  14. Love love love your tea box. Does she have a tutorial maybe? Hint hint?

I am on a Double Chai Matte kick right now, but I do so love a nice Earl Grey! I will have to look for the roasted brown rice stuff. Never heard of that in tea.

Have you tried Choffy? Coffee, but it is made from ground cacao beans. I cut it half and half with decaf New Orleans blend with chicory (I am a new orleans girl after all) and it is divine and very very healthy for you.

Love that box-so beautifully constructed, and the colors are Just gorgeous! Can't wait to check out Hilde's blog!
Tea----my favorite warm and cozy drink, that I love to sip while chatting with my sweet daughter,or while taking a sewing break, or while reading,or with my BFF over Sunday breakfast---well you get the idea I like it all the time! My personal favorite is Earl Grey--with a touch of milk! -------Speaking of tea---the wappingers historical society annual Victorian tea was this past Sunday---What a wonderful event and fundraiser! I drank tea (many cups), and enjoyed mini tea sandwiches, and some pretty fabulous desserts! Our local high school quartet played Victorian music for our listening pleasure! Absolutely great day! Victoria please do be in touch if you would like a personal tour of the homestead---it had a wonderful textile exhibit ---and sewing items---quilts. I would be more then happy to provide a tour of this historic gem dating to the 1700's!
    Stay in touch
    Best regards,
    And as always---happy sewing

  18. Lots of great suggestions, I'll have to try plus the Choffey, I've been wanting to. What a great friend to make that beautiful box, my teas are in a nice basket, however I also make loose tea, and those are in tins.

  19. Favorite tea: The Good Earth: Sweet and Spicy original...don't need to add anything at all to it...and the longer you leave the tea bag in the tastier it gets if you love cinnamon, etc!!! :) And I also really like revolution's earl gray with lavendar
