Oh mY Goodness. You won't believe what I was working on TODAY! hawaiian quilt applique... similar...but YOUR's is SO much better! Now I'm embarrassed to post! :/ LOL
wow!!! how did u cut it ?? I remember doing one of those back in the early 90s . I watched a tv series taught by Elisabeth Akana who teaches Hawaiian quilting. The hardest part for me was folding and cutting ! Good luck. I only did a wall size breadfruit quilt. What a project..
Amazing. It took me five years to do my wall hanging. I am very impressed with your design and your undertaking. My only advise is to baste it well with thread. The pins tend to warp the design somehow. It is going to be stunning.
Hawaiian quilts have always been a favorite of mine, but I know that I will never attempt to make one. I just admired them and on this one I will live vicariously through you.
Awesome, how are you going to applique it? what size is this?
ReplyDeleteGreat design!
Happy Sewing
Holy moly! Did you design it? Have you basted it down? It's going to be great, I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteWOW. It is stunning. Hats off to you!
ReplyDeleteHaving lived in Hawaii...I'm guessing a Hawaiian motif? Classic white background. Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous; how big is it? I can't wait to see the finished project.
