bit by bit

Yesterday I spent time chain piecing my HST's...

I realized that ,
ONE WOUND BOBBIN of thread,
sewn into HST's til it ran out is equal 200 3" HST'S!
or also, the length of my apartment!

 Keeping in measuring....
(because this is very useful information...LOL)

Jenny Egg is about 4.5 HST's tall.

One bobbin of HST's down. probably 5more to go!

  7. Your art training is showing with the blue and orange combo.

DH thinks the blue and orange HST's on Good Bye My Fancy give it a very Indian touch. Pueblo/Piute style. I just think it's amazing.

Nice way to measure by Jenny-eggs instead of feet.

  13. I heard quilt designer Trudie Hughes speak once (very funny) and she said her personal record for chain piecing with an empty bobbin was 45 minutes! What's yours? :) We've all done it...

  21. I always do a square , draw a line on the diagonal and sew 1/4 inch either side of it then cut thro,. = no stretching on the cross of the material

It's looking good , your quilt
