Will you be in NYC anytime between now and the new year?
There are so many great QUILT things happening right now!
Plan ahead, as many events will sell out quickly!

October 15th, I am part of a round table discussion with Mark Lipinski,
Luke Haynes, and Meg Cox,
It should be a fun event,
come check it out and say hi!

The METROPOLITAN  MUSEUM  OF ART has a quilt program coming

THE FOLK ART MUSEUM

I am happy to say that the FOLK Art museum is finding support
from other NYC ART institutions.
The Brooklyn Museum, the New-York Historical Society, and the Museum of Arts
and Design have expressed interest in working with the American Folk Art Museum to
identify potential exhibitions where the museums respective collections inform and
excite one another.

So there is HOPE for the FOLK ART MUSEUM, and we need to
support them as much as possible...

please go visit
2 Lincoln Square, Columbus Avenue at 66th Street

It's so worth it to see these SUPER STAR quilts!

Let me know if you come to NYC to visit!

  1. How wonderful that so many places are putting the focus on fiber arts, looks like there are a lot of things to see and do this fall/winter in your area. Wish I could make it back this year :-(

  3. I'll be in New York the beginning of January. Sure hope there will be something going on then. Last year we were able to visit an exhibit at (I think) MOMA.
