Need ideas? Do you know there are links for tutorials on the BASICS sites?
I'm still sifting through all the 10.5" blocks you all sent last year...
I pulled all the left over Blues I had, and sliced them into half square Triangles...
I had this 5 yard piece of fabric in my stash for years, and thought how Fun & Perfect
it would be to use in HST's!
It perks up the light blues into something scrappy fun and MODERN!
Are you making a quilt or already donated one? Add your link below!
There are so many fun ways to lay these out into a beautiful quilt.
I think I found my answer with these
for today!
Each Sunday I will post a new quilt top for BASICS.
It seems a small gift to make up a top a week, in light of the awful weather
we've had as of late,
I can't imagine being homeless at a time like this, and with winter approaching.
Today I am grateful that I can help by making a bunch of quilts...
And it fills me up with pride that I can share them.
I know the smile I get from the recipient,
is all I need in return.
The fact that I can plant a seed and it becomes a flower,
share a bit of knowledge and it becomes another's,
smile at someone and receive a smile in return,
are to me continual spiritual exercises.
