Happy 4th!

Happy 4th of JULY.... I dug out my red whites and blues...
and my Hydrangea turned blue for the occasion, right on time...

I've been sewing, swimming, and cooking...
eating way to much this weekend..

I've had a terrible sweet tooth.
wait.
Is that an oxymoron? terrible & Sweet tooth...
hehe... oh well...is it really so bad?

SWEET TOOTH SALLY...

 BASIL, LEMON, and STRAWBERRY Sorbet....
Yep, add Basil... YUM.. I also made Lemon Basil Popsicles....
The first batch has already been devoured...

( just for fun: think Goldilocks and the three bears)
"Someone has been in MY SCRAP BIN! And she's still there! "

giggle.

Hope your day is filled with 4th of July fun!

  1. What a sweet picture of Boo. Hope you and yours have a wonderful 4th. My whole family (minus our son and DiL) are down and I'm so enjoying my grands. My granddaughter and I have been "crafting", what a sweet memory for me.

  4. Do you have a recipe for the sorbet? Sounds yummy!

We have some blue hydrangeas, planted them last month and so they are just now starting to grow. They have been having trouble with the extreme heat.

I would love to join your daughter digging through your fabric!

  6. I think terrible and sweet tooth are synonymous... oxymorons are like jumbo shrimp... not the same.
Happy 4th to you and yours, too. Love the picture of Boo. What is she getting ready to make?
