Cabin fever... GIVEAWAY!

This time of year I start to get that itchy cabin fever feeling... I think of the baby geese,
and my brown eyed Susan's popping up around my cabin...  So just to feed my urge to
hop on a plane and rush to Minnesota to sit by the lake with my toes in the water...

I'm giving you a chance to win my friend,  Heather's new beautiful pattern book...

She lives on the lake where I have my cabin. Small world!

Heather was in Spain last summer, and you can see how she was inspired but what she saw.
I love that! I can see the Spanish tiles as I look at her quilts.

I also love that these patterns focus on large scale prints...
Sometimes It's nice to keep chunks of those beautiful prints all in one piece!

Thank you Heather for the BOOK!
See ya soon!

 Leave me a comment,
If you'd like to win her new pattern book "Living Large 2"

Are you feeling a little cabin fever these days?
Tell me where you'd like to be right now,
besides in front of your sewing machine!

I will draw a winner Sunday, May 22nd at 8pm

LizA WON!!! CONGRATS!

  1. I love Heather's designs and fabric and would love to have her book. Lucky you - sharing the same lake, definitely makes me homesick for my childhood summers at our cabin on the lake!

  2. Ok, I would REALLY like to know how to make that Star/hexie quilt. I've been obsessed with it since I saw it on Heather's blog before market.

Oh, and yes, cabin fever always hits this rural Midwest girl who finds herself living in LA... I would love to be @ my aunt & uncle's cabin resort on Table Rock Lake in Missouri right now!

  7. I'm from Brooten, MN - I used to work at Dairy Queen in Spicer in the 80's. I totally get cabin fever every spring. We used to do a lot of camping when I was a kid, and I really miss it! Such good memories! :) I'd love to be at a Minnesota lake SOON! When I was a kid we went to the fireworks every July 4th at Green Lake. :)

  12. I'm longing for Vigo, Spain at the moment: the cafes, my favourite tea shoppe, fresh fish, the market, Samil beach, and most of all cool evenings filled with conversation over chocolate and churros.

But I would also settle for New Orleans at the moment :)

  14. I can't help thinking about my trip to Italy and month in Paris last summer. I know it's selfish of me but I wish I were there now. Sigh.

Second choice - on the beach in Prince Edward Island, living in the house we (stupidly) sold a couple of years ago.

I totally understand your love affair with your home at the lake in Minnesota! It's all about relaxation - something that is seemingly impossible when you're at home, surrounded by things to do!

  58. Hi ~ I just came to your blog after finding it from the Market pictures I was looking on "A Quilting Life's" blog. I hope it's ok to enter this giveaway since it's my first time here. I can say that this is a book I absolutely love. And YES!!!!!!! I totally have cabin fever. Very bad cabin fever and I keep hoping we will see Spring sometimes soon. We've already had one day of 91 degrees yet this past week we have had multiple nights with freeze warnings. HUH? What season is this? I'm in Northern IL, not the mountains where that could be expected. We laughed the other day saying that one 91 degree day must've been summer and we're back to Fall already. HA

Thanks for the chance to win this awesome book. If you won't allow me to since it's my first visit I totally understand.

Where I'd like to be right this minute ~ in a place where they are having a 'real' Spring with flowers starting to bloom and lilacs making the entire yard smell heavenly (like mine should be right now and aren't)...or a long weekend away with hubby anywhere just to get away.

  133. I would love to be in North Dakota, right next door to Minnesota. That is where I grew up and my parents still live there. My sister lives in Minnesota so she would be close. Thank you for the chance to win Heather's book. I really love her designs and fabric. Take care and God bless, Cory

  134. Thanks for a chance to win the these wonderful patterns...I've been admiring them thruout blogland. Since the sun is trying to peak out between the clouds after a few days of rain...I can't wait until my garden dries out so I can plant my heirloom tomatoes and peppers.
