Nifty!

Finally! Nifty is here in NYC! WAHOOO!!
I can show you the swap piece I did for her.... We swapped an inspiration piece of fabric.
Will show mine later...
She sent me the inner floral piece with the scrolls cut off... so I took that as a place to 
applique the continuation of the pattern, add some color, machine and hand quilting, 
and I can happily say, I am thrilled she will go home with this. It was so fun to work on it for her...
The loft looks like a sweat shop...  tables, and chairs, and sewing machines are dribbling in...
Good Lordy, we are going to make some fabric fly!
See!  Nifty is already sorted out enough fabric for a few quilts! Talk about a kid in a candy store!
(Hey Bonnie, I think she is having a good time) LOL!

Everyone else arrives tomorrow.... How will I ever sleep tonight...

  9. Gorgeous little goodie! Love the big stitch combined with the swirly machine quilting. So does Mr. Bumble Beans go into hiding when all of these ladies arrive? I know you all will have a fantabulous time.

  25. That just looks heavenly! I worked in a sweatshop sewing clothes for two years, and trust me, your sweatshop looks far more inviting haha! I would love love LOVE to be there sewing with you ladies - it looks heavenly! I think a road trip is in order sometime. Hey it's not really THAT far from NH, right?!!
