  3. You'll get so many ideas from handling and refolding your fabric!
Wouldn't that view from your window make a great quilt - with an inspirational message on the airship?! Hope B enjoyed her new school! Me, Ive been designing things on my computer today - sadly, not quilts!! (Well, maybe the odd few minutes on a quilt design!)

  4. Busy.. busy! I am busy sorting my fabrics out and cutting some triangles for my daughter's quilt. I love the stacks of your beautifully folded fabrics. It is nice to have different stations, so you can get a little bit of sewing done in between the folding.
Wish I was as organized as you!

  5. Stacks are so pretty, especially when it's fabric. Mmmm...my day--homemade peach cobbler just out of the oven, lots of laundry as son cleans his room, and working on a new bag pattern. It's a good day...minus the laundry.

  6. Love the view, I see a quilt in it! Busy hatching a plan for some substantial studio space of my own! Hope B had a great time back at school, how quickly she grows :) Happy weekend!

  7. Love the wall quilt with B's image on it....and can't believe that she is going to middle school, is that possible?

I've been thinking of you this week as we get closer to the anniversary of the WTC attacks....I was living out of the country at the time, so didn't see all the coverage and am just now seeing it. How scary that must have been for you and all folks on the lower end of Manhattan.

  9. What a great view you have from your studio window - would distract me I think! Mmm what I did today ..... my daughter in Canada skyped me and headed me over to 'The Sketchbook Project' which I have just seen you have a clip for on your blog page. Looks really interesting so am thinking about that. Feel it's been a great bits 'n' pieces day with a variety of projects scattered throughout the house....even a lampshade soaking in the bath midst deconstruction!!!!!. Ciao
