Yippee! I got the quilting done on my Christmas Log Cabin quilt!!
I haven't quilted anything very large recently, and I was sort of dreading it,
But I did some straight line cross hatching on the quilt, something I had not done before,
And I am very happy with it.
B told me to "Persevere mom!" So, I thought I better stick with it, and get it done...
BEFORE Christmas!
I even pieced the back. Yeah! ME! I don't do that very often,
but I wanted to use up these Xmas scraps... and that big beautiful piece of Jennifer Paganelli green and blue print...
I had a bunch of scrap blocks from probably 20 years ago... I dug them out last night
to play with and put those other old blocks in with it...
I keep trying different things with it...
I thought maybe this vintage print with yellow might be a fun blender for the back ground to blend in the point blocks with white background...
I'm still playing, so we'll see where it goes...
Finally some clear blue skies over Manhattan.... just some lovely jet stream! Is that a V?
:-)
Happy sewing....
