Pixiedust GATHER

Here's another gather! (NOW CLOSED, 25 spots filled)

The fabulous people at Pixiedust fabrics
Generously donated to me, a bunch of yardage of one of their lines.

(in the picture above, pink, green, pink lattice)

I thanked them Most Happily, and told them I would make them into a donation quilt...

So. I need your help.

What I would like to do is ask for about 20-25 people to help make me blocks for this quilt.
Sort of like how I did the 9 patch gather last winter...

EXCEPT! I will send you three 12" blocks, (one of each fabric)
and you have to make your block out of those three fabrics, Plus white.

So, it would be a block of your choice, (10" finished size a must!)
out of the fabrics I send you, Plus you can add white.

Sort of like the one above... (But less wrinkly then mine from!)

Something challenging and fabulous!

So what do you say? are you in?

I will confirm you, if you comment to help, with an email.
When you get that email, please respond with your addresses...
And I will put the fabric in the mail.

The Block due date to be sent back to me is August 31st.

Donation of the quilt is to be determined.... always opened to ideas...

Please note:

We've got 25! This Gather is now closed!
Thanks Everyone!!!

  14. I've not done one of these before but I would definately be interested. I live in New Zealand so I'm not sure if you would want to send the fabric that far? Cost of postage and all. Please let me know, I'd love to help.

  16. I'd love to participate if you still have an opening.

If you need ideas for charity, my suggestion is to donate it for ovarian cancer research/treatment.

  17. Hi, I came from Mushyhed. I would love to make a block. However, I will be honest, there is no way I could make what you did, but if you find out you need a beginner, please feel free to count me in for a block.
