WOW! 9 patch gather closed.

A HUGE THANK YOU
to those who have offered to help me on this project.

I need to say THANK YOU to the people I have confirmed for blocks.

I will have more than enough for one quilt. You are all so very generous.
And here I thought I'd get a block or two form a few bloggy friends!
You are all great.

If you have had an email from me to where to mail them to,
then you are confirmed.

If not, Please, make them into your own special quilt for a donation.

My goal to get people to open their hearts to make a difference to others, using what we have, has definitely been met. Thank s so much.

There are many wonderful places that will take the quilts.

Awareness Ribbons
Here's a rundown of awareness ribbon colors to help you make a theme quilt for cancer and other diseases.

Making comfort quilts is an important activity for thousands and thousands of quilters. A group of our forum members spent one evening at a quilting retreat making baby quilts for an international charity. It's easy to start your own charity quilting group.

Quilters are one of the most caring groups of people you'll ever meet, so it's no surpise that they've worked steadily to make quilts for Katrina survivors. Quilts are one form of Katrina relief that truly come from the heart.

Quilts of Valor is an organization dedicated to providing comfort quilts for wounded soldiers. You can become involved in the effort.

An organization founded by Bonnie Stratton, a fabric designer, when her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer.
