Meadowlark by Melanie Testa

Miss Melly has beautiful new fabrics!!! My friend Melanie Testa has these fabulous new fabrics out by Windham called Meadowlark. How scrumptious are they?
 I can not wait to cut into them! It was great fun to see her play with her tools, to make prints at Quilt Market in Pittsburgh  in May! Check out the videos below!

  4. This fabric is unique: modern in colours and traditional in the use of fauna and flora as design elements. I absolutely love it. I would like to use the fruit and foliage with the dots and tiles. TILES! just perfect for completing the mosaic idea.

  96. I love how she uses ordinary art supplies to create her hand stamped cloth designs. I've done lino cuts and carved my own stamps and it was interesting see how used them to create a fabric line with such wonderful textures and colors.
