Salem Weekend.

SALEM, MA,  FUN!!! I went up with Beatrice, to Salem, MA this past weekend and taught a two day class, and I can tell you we had fabric flying like crazy! Ideas were zooming around faster then a Salem Witch on a broom! Enjoy these pics of the projects that got started! Every kind of fabric from 30's, to solids, and Kaffe and every other possibility went into MADE FABRIC inspirations! Maureen from Marketplace quilts in Salem was the greatest Hostess. Thanks Maureen for having me up.. I will be back... A beautiful weekend!

Here's a shot of most of us... I think we are missing four people... Our workshop was held at the House of Seven Gables. I loved the houses in Salem! So quaint and sweet!

A bunch of my sewing cases harried be people who had finished theirs! They looked so cute, it was alike a little convention of finished sewing cases! You can find them here!

Beatrice and I also got over to the Museum of Fine Arts Boston to see the Quilts of Color Exhibit... A fun Mommy/Daughter day!

I think I cam home even more inspired then my students.... That is pure, success!

  4. Looks like a great time, I bet the museum was good too. Is that the same museum with the flags from the quilters?
