The Quilt Show!

Today my episode on The Quilt Show airs! Last February, I was invited to be on The Quilt Show, with Ricky Tims and Alex Anderson, which was being taped on location at the Magnolia Plantation in Charleston, SC.  It was just after Quiltcon and all bit to much fun, to say the least!

I haven't watched this episode yet, myself, But you can pop over to see it here:

It was such a fun experience, (You can see the old posts here about the trip!) and it was so easy to work with everyone on staff. Great people, great fun a little bit like a fairy tale!  And, I am now writing for The Quilt Life Magazine as a modern contributor! The articles will start in the June issues,of this year!

Well, I won't blather on here… Go see the show!

Hopefully I did OK…( I was so nervous!)  You will let me know, right? Be kind!

:-)

You will have to see the sow to see what this photo is all about!

  3. You did great. You were obviously a little nervous but, when you were "into teaching mode" you were completely yourself. I loved it. I just wanted to sit down and make fabric.

  5. Hi Victoria, loved your show with Alex and Ricky, you were really clear and interesting WELL DONE!
I am sure you will have inspired more quilters to try your '15 minutes of Play' method, you certainly made me want to go and make some more fun pieces. It's great to have permission to play!

  9. I have been waiting for your show to air. I have just finished watching it and I loved every minute. You did a great job and your made fabrics just shone. All your quilts were super just great. I have just got you 15 minutes play book too. The thing is I can't dive in and play cos we are packing up as we are moving house so it will be a while before I can get my machine out again. Boo Hoo!!!

  11. Loved your episode of The Quilt Show! I've been following your blog since QuiltCon and really enjoy it, but now, I really get it. I'm a fairly new quilter but you've completely inspired me to cut loose and improvise as I'm learning all these new techniques. The segment showing the evolution of all the possibilities for the made fabrics was such an "aha moment". Thank you for the inspiration, I'm on my way to grab a copy of your book and I can't wait to start a daily 15 minutes of play!
