"Sew" much fun!

Nancy's blocks came together quickly!

Mary went from subtle green to all out fabulous!

Christine worked her "paper piecing made fabric," beautifully!

Saturday and Sunday I was at Pieceful Quilting, in East Northport, Long Island, with a bunch of fabulous women, playing!  15 Minutes of PLAY that is!  What a great group! They produced a lot of fabric, learned Y seams, curved piecing, went over color choices etc.  I was very impressed with all the work the group made. Enjoy the pictures, check out the video, and see a bit of all the fun!

We all decided these were to pretty to cut up!

Saturday night, Beatrice decided she was going to make rubber band bracelets for all my students! so she had to crank out a whole bunch of them lickety-split!  She did it, and they were SO LOVED by the group.  ;-)

Thank you Beatrice, for the bracelets!

Thanks Angela, for having me to the store!

Did you do any FUN sewing this weekend?

  5. Sounds like you had a lot of fun! I spent Saturday in the rain and mud working the merchandise booth for my nephew's band. After 12 hours of helping to haul the band's equipment and packing everything back up I was too tired on Sunday to sew. Maybe I will get some sewing time in this week.

  6. Hey Victoria
Love that made fabric, love those bracelets Boo---they look like little mini quilts for the wrist! Soooo beautiful!
Yep---lots of fun sewing this weekend. Working on two landscape quilts (my favorite al-time thing to sew) --one is for a commission project, the other is for the Grand Central Terminal Challenge! Both are very exciting and so much fun!
    As always
    Happy Sewing
