Three days

I was home for two days then off to Charleston, SC! When I was asked to do The Quilt Show a while back, I was so excited that it would be on location somewhere I had never been! I have been all over this big country, but never to the south! Iw as all prepared for some warm weather.
cough cough!
It was FREEZING!!!! OH MY!
None of us were prepared for the cold there... we ended up wearing about 5 layers at a time as we didn't have our with coats with us either... You may have saw the small video posts I did from there... Man oh man, you could see our breath!  But none the less, we had an amazing time! when I say WE I mean, myself and Lyric, we were lucky enough to have both filmed on the same day,so we were able to have some  girl time to enjoy SC in our free time.  Coming down for breakfast each morning and having Alex, Ricky and the gang made for a fun moment or two!

The show will air sometime this year...When I know, I will let you guys know. ;-)
Thanks Ricky and Alex for a great time!

Alex decided one fo my quilts needed to go home with her... I couldn't be happier that that little quilt, inspired by the red and white quilt show will now live with her.  It's in my book too, on page 85.

You can always buy a SIGNED COPY OF MY BOOK at my website store. click here.

Good thing I had a lot of quilts with me... I slept under them as the room was cold... and sitting anywhere outside required a quilt while sitting under those beautiful dripping trees with spanish moss!

Tomorrow I'll show you a bunch of quilts we saw at the Magnolia Plantation.

CRAFTSY has many of the lectures FREE on their website from QuiltCon, did you know? Hop over and check it out!

  1. If I were the type to be jealous, I would be jealous. However, I am just really excited that you will be on The Quilt Show.
meanwhile, it is really cold here in the South this morning. Definitely a day for wearing a coat.

  5. I'm like Gene..not jealous, just so excited for you that you got to be on The Quilt Life. How awesome! How interesting that it was so cold that you needed to use all those quilts. You'd think you were in Minnesota. LOL! Snowing here this morn but not nearly as much as the weatherfolk predicted. ;-)
Love that little quilt that went home with Alex!
