the sun has risen

Anguillan Sunrise
size = KING. (LOL)

I was obsessed today.

I had two other quilts I should have been QUILTING....
But I was SO NOT in the mood to quilt...
So I did a little on this,
then thoughts, just a little more,
then, well, I'm almost done,
and lastly,
awwh, what the heck, just finish the darn thing...

(And I'm kind of Excited to QUILT it too!)

  11. Another beaut, Victoria! You have such a wonderful and free way with colors and bold fabrics. And I think you are going to singlehandedly make King size quilts the new standard. Yours always look just right that size!

  17. I'm curious: when you made those outer borders did you first make a bunch of 9 patch blocks and assemble the border from them or was there another process involved?
