Intuition complete.

I'm trying really hard to brighten up the outdoors....
I'm now making king size quilts of the snow banks.... LOL!
I jumped right in this morning bound and determined to
finish the last row on my scrap bin "Intuition Quilt."
I really think I thought that I would deplete my scrap bins of fabric
by making this quilt completely from scraps...
I swear they are like RABBITS!
There just seems to be more and more of them!

I had a thought that maybe this quilt will live in my guest room.
That painting up on the wall (on the right) is one of mine...
It's the exact colors of this new quilt....
I guess I subconsciously made a quilt to match it...It's a perfect fit...

It feels good to have a finish... Now to quilt another KING...

Happy Sunday!

  11. I am blown away! It is simply the best guest room anyone could ask to sleep in, with those gorgeous quilts and fab painting. I love the photo in the snow with the shadows of the trees laid across the quilt. That would make a great quilt too. :) I am BLOWN AWAY!

  12. I love it, Victoria. It is PERFECT for that room. And your painting is brilliant, by the way. I'm going to show it to my daughter who is also very talented with paint (me, not so much).

If you need a guest to occupy that room for a bit and do Quality Control on the quilt, let me know... haha.

  21. Delicious colors, nice and bright. Looks great on the snow and in the guest room.

I've been doing yellow lately too, but I like yours better.

I'm thinking about spreading some quilts on the snow then taking photos from upstairs. Great idea!

All this snow has been good for quilt production, hasn't it?
