What an amazing week. The ladies were so fabulous and fun, I feel huge gratitude for having gotten to spend the week with each of them, and to watch their journey building their double wedding ring quilts.
Thank you Mary, Nancy, Joyce, DiAnne, Ann, Lynn and Sarah for coming to play!
Now, I'm back at the airport, and heading home. Ready to start yet another, double wedding ring. :-)
That is a long time to teach one group, I bet it was relaxing.
ReplyDeleteI love Mary Whitaker. I'm totally #jealous. She's the best.
ReplyDeleteI was lucky to have Mary in my class again! Several have take my classes before! I love that! I'm so happy to have gotten extra time to hang with Mary! She rocked her quilt!
DeleteBoy their projects are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLove all their DWR work. It is inspiring to see all and maybe one day I will try one.
ReplyDeleteHey, I noticed Lynn Roddy Brown in one of the photos! She is an extraordinary scrap quilter with books to her credit. The last time I saw her in November, she was pretty ill with pneumonia, so I am thrilled to see her working with you. I was her suitemate at QBL last year and she is one smart quilter.
ReplyDeleteLynn is my dear sweet friend, who comes along to play! Even to QBL! I put you two together, ;-) She's wonderful, funny, and a great quilter!
DeleteWhat a lot of fun and lovely work! Wish I'd been there. I can tell it was an excellent class!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like lots of fun! I've got to try this!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a productive week. I love Nancy's star, that's a great way to use up the scraps.
