in my groove.


It (the secret bday project) has BEGUN!

TINY pieces!!! Look at all those 1.5" squares!!!  


This is a quilt that you need days to to ONLY work on this... Once you find your groove, (after putting several together wrong...) Then you can sail right along!  It's so fun to watch it emerge!!!



 It's so cool. Tomorrow, the EYES have it!


and make your own design!



After all that,(and a coffee lovers ice-cream with peanut butter thanks to a 70 degree day & cold stone creamery)  I'm off to put my feet up, and flip a few pages of Marie Bostwick's new book Apart at the Seams...

    its coming along so great! I am in the same mode as you, doing a 1600 piece pixelated dragon for my son. I think organization is the key:)

    Looking good! Having recently completed two pixelized quilts (alas, the two shows they could be in won't let me show them yet) I completely get that groove thing. You definitely need to get in a zone to keep track of all those little squares and where they go.
