Frances Newcombe's Fabric line Safari Moon, was so inspiring to play with! Having just been to Africa, Christmas 2012, I could happily revisit the lions, giraffes, zebras and flora, just by using her lovely Fabrics by Art Gallery.
The smells, colors and vibe of Africa came through, like it was yesterday... The warm orange glow of the sun, the wide blue skies, the pink earth, the grasses…. Magical!

Your sense of Africa must have informed the design because it not only showcases the fabrics so beautifully, it evokes the mood of them perfectly. And that quilting is just beyond!!
