The New International Quilt Festival Quilt Scene Magazine is out, and I have my new favorite quilt, "Skylark" inside. This was a quilt I made last spring where I was grabbing and collecting fabrics for weeks... Playing with solids, 1800's fabrics, newer vintage fabrics, African fabrics, and well, frankly anything I could get my hands on...I had so many options to play with, and focus on a massive scrappy over all look...
It's a great fall quilt, and I was so happy when it arrived home to to this week.. I went straight for the couch and had a snuggle in it..
Look what I have...
SONNET!!! Yes, My Fabrics are on their way and looks like November to shops...It's been a long wait, but, they have been so fun to cut into! Be on the look out for a giveaway soon!
I now have yardage to play in and whipped up a few quilts this week for Quilt Market. You can see my home is turning into stacks of plies all over the place... So Much to make, pack, and prepare for... FUN STUFF THOUGH!!
One more quilt to bind and I will be good to go!
So! Are you going to be at Market, or Quilt Festival? I will get my schedule up here soon... I hope to see a bunch of you and say hi!
Congratulations on both Skylark and your new fabric. You quilt faster than I can clean my house! So wishing to go to Houston...one day.
