It cracks me up what image the videos always choose to start with... hahaha! Oh well! Yesterday I shot off to Philadelphia to pick up LISA SIPES, who is now living there!!! YAY!!! We popped over to Olde City quilts in Burlington, NJ, and PAT SLOAN was there teaching! How perfect is that??
Lisa is going to have her own long arm room at the shop for private lessons, and I'm thrilled to have her on the east coast... Lisa was the one who quilted our "Double Edged Love "quilt.
Later that day we were off to Downtown Philly for the MQG Philly Sewdown for dinner. I gave a lecture, and it was fun to have Lisa along so she could talk about the quilting on our quilt, too! We are looking forward to Houston, where the two of us, and the quilt, will all be together, and we can get a picture.
I Love Philly.... the dinner was at the top of the hotel with amazing views!!!
Thanks Modern Quilt Guild for having me last night! I had a great time!!! ...and an even better day with pals... Just what I needed!
Sounds like a fabulous time :0)

ReplyDeleteawesome. Philly IS a cool city, my family used to live there when I was a pre-teen. My dad worked in that building with the pyramid on top! Love your stuff, Sew Down would have been an amazing experience, I'm sure :D
