I must tell you the really COOL stuff that happened at Market... This picture above, I was sitting at Craftsmans Touch books, doing book signing, and next to me, the lady in orange...A FABULOUS woman. It's nice to have people want you to sign their book, but it's even nicer when the lady next to you is also a scrap quilter, and just a real JOY to be sitting with.
This is what I love about QUILTING. Women, and sometimes men, finding amazing connections through quilts. We hit it off like crazy from the get go, and by the end of our sessions, we were selling each others books! Besides, She's wearing ORANGE, and it's my favorite color so I should have known! ( of course it was HALLOWEEN, but that's besides the point) hehe.
Go visit my new fabulous friend, Lynn Roddy Brown, as she JUST started a blog.... and tell her I SENT YOU OVER TO SAY HI!
http://blog.lynnroddybrown.com/This quilt below is one she started in a Gwen Marston, (another reason I love her besides scraps and orange!)
I also shared a little secret at Market & Festival...
Wait and see!
