So, I've been away! We head to Seattle every year to see my step son and grandaughter, and I always make a few minutes to see my favorite west coast quilters, the Rebels! Here we are at LeeAnn's House, L to R: Miki, Alexis, LeeAnn, Patti, Sally, Em, and me! This was my first time see EM now that she lives in Seattle! Thank you LeeAnn for hosting! Miki, Alexis,LeeAnn, Patti, and Sally all have quilts in my book! I so wish they all lived on the east coast...
Em showing off her LOVE! With made fabric and her fabulous novelty prints!
Alexis found some time to sew! She's a busy lady! Love those vintage prints!
Miki is making this strip quilt!
Sally has been working away on her free motion quilting.
Boo and grandaughter having a great time playing, parading, arcading, visiting.... Family time in Seattle is always the best.Hope your holiday was GRAND!!!

ReplyDeleteLucky you! What a great holiday treat to be with family AND quilt friends. I couldn't help noticing that great tablecloth and those tea cozies...just like I always spot quilts in movies now.
ReplyDeletenothing to do with quilting here just a question for you - silly one I guess - in every photo I see if you with other quilters you are always the tall one - :) just how tall are you or is everyone else short LOL
ReplyDeleteI already have your book and just LOVE it, but I have a few friends who who love to get it as a holiday gift. I will definitely check out the blog hop!

ReplyDeleteLovely photo of you and your friends and the goodie table. Looks so inviting!! Sweet picture of Boo and your granddaughter. All it needs is a few snowflakes!!I worked on my Santa block last night. It's going to be my first block in a Christmas quilt that will use a little bit of every Christmas fabric that I have collected in 40 years. You will love it's craziness. Hoping for a finish of it in 2013. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely group of girls -young and not quite as young. :-) I am so jealous of your visit. ;-/, but happy that you had an excellent visit. What a perfect Thanksgiving holiday!
