Oh my, that is REALLY fun fabric! I love the urban feel of it!

Great baby quilt! Mine is looking very blah so far....could use some orange!
ReplyDeleteI think the upper fabric in your second photo would be great for a dress. I'm actually getting a good bit done this week, in my slow, plodding way!
ReplyDeletei really regret not getting enough Habitat, Dropcloth for a dress...I won't be making that mistake again with this line...i love it too!
ReplyDeleteLove those helpers!!
ReplyDeleteHaven't been sewing so much as having ideas cooking and popping up in my head! Might have a plan for my color blocks - I love them so much, I want the setting to really work.
ReplyDeleteLove those fabrics, and great seeing a new post! Always fun to see what you're up to!
Got together with my sewing buddies for a sew-and-chat afternoon. So nice to get away from the desk for a few hours (and get some hand-sewing done).
ReplyDeleteMy stash is full of 3-yard lengths purchased with possible dress futures in mind. Visions outnumber finishes by a good amount around here.
Love the Jay fabric! It is so out of the box! I can't wait to see what you do with it. I am going to have to find a source to buy some of this myself! This week has been all about exercising and quilting the wedding quilt for my brother and his future wife. Have a great Labor Day!
ReplyDeleteThe dogs crack me up...our little Yorkie/Poodle does the same thing. Her favorite is a little tub filled with batting scraps.
ReplyDeleteLove Jay's fabrics!

ReplyDeleteGreat Jay MacC fabric - I would love to see it in real life. This week I've been catching up with friends after several weeks of holidaying and (Edinburgh) festivalling, made one coffee mat (mug rug) and am about to start finishing a Round Robin piece.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun post and scrumpdiddlyumptious fabs! Boo's smile is contagious...and the pups just make me grin. Just the post I needed to find as I work on my 'deep breathing'....thanks!
ReplyDeleteWow! That fabric is wonderful! I love that it doesn't look like a 'collection'. And your quilt is fabulous! Have a great weekend!!
ReplyDeleteYeah! More Jay Mc C.... "Habitat" is one of my all time favorite lines too. Can't wait for the new one. All three of your helpers are adorable!
