I did it! I survived!!! LOL! I, like clock work, stayed on my seasickness meds, and survived! We all had a blast. Boo had the BEST time, and had so much fun. I tell ya, no one does it like Disney. They do an amazing job, the staff, kids clubs, entertainment etc.... It was a success... I relaxed, and made a few trips to the spa, mostly because my back acted up, and had a pinched nerve... nothing several Advil and three massages couldn't work out! Hot rocks and all!
Our ship stopped at Key West, Grand Cayman and Cozumel and lastly, Disney's private island. I could have stayed there for the entire week and done without the other stops. The island had everything. Lovely.
We had a great time at Grand Cayman playing with turtles and dolphins... The island itself is pretty dull. In Cozumel, we had a fabulous time rock climbing, zip lining and Snorkeling there.
Watching the Norwegian Star dock right up to our ship was pretty fun... It was a GOSPEL tour and they could be heard over our DISNEY music constantly playing on our ship. hahaha! Dancing & Singing....AMEN!
Hubby and Boo went para-sailing...
I kept my feet on the waves and took Boo Jet skiing... AMAZING. We saw a 7 foot Stingray swim under our jet ski, went looking for huge star fish on a small island, and saw some lemon sharks swim by... eek!
Now, home, totally relaxed, but very tired... You know how it is after a vacation, you always need another week to recover. The Doggies were very happy to see us come home. Although, they had good company last week! Pat and Gregg came for a weeks vacation and stayed here.
Did you see all her great posts from her week?
Glad we did it.
Boo's smiles and excitement were worth every moment. And Hey!
I had a great dance partner!

ReplyDeleteYou guys look like you had a blast! What gorgeous water! And the bonding moment with your daughter and the dolphin...well I'm surprised there's not a new pet at home. But perhaps a dolphin quilt to commemorate?
