Christmas Decor? Check!

I rcvd this gorgeous Xmas card from Dagmar in the mail! It's adorable! I hung it up with all the rest of our holiday cards from twine around the apartment... It is starting to feel like Christmas around here!

Cards are sent!
 Tree is up!
Our tree this year is loaded with all the hand made ornaments Boo and I  make each year. Christmas certainly marks just how fast kids grow... We hang the Christmas cards of Boo in chronologically, and we can watch her grow all over again, very quickly, right before our eyes...

 Memories are flooding back!
The stockings are  hung, waiting to be filled...

At our house on long island, we bought a 2 foot tree in a pot. It can hold  5 ornaments! How funny is that? We dug a hole outside, so that after Xmas we can plant it in our yard... it will be nice, to have some quiet time by the fire place next week... Do you travel around a lot at the holidays or do you stay close to home?

Gifts are bought.
If you still need one, I highly recommend this... for yourself. ;-) You will intend to buy it for someone else, and then eat it quietly alone so no one else knows you have it, so you won't have to share.  (not that I know this from fact, I'm just sayin...)

Gifts Delivered!
....finished and already delivered!

And hopefully spit up upon already!
I say, "Quilts are best when they have gotten good and dirty!"

Go for it Cutie!

I'm ready.
Bring on Christmas!

  1. I love the look of the cards strung across your apartment. We aren't traveling, our kids are coming here. Our daughter and her fiance are coming today, our second son and his wife are coming late tomorrow. Our oldest son and his family are close by and we will celebrate the Feast of the Seven Fishes with them tomorrow night. I am cooking for the next three days and loving it! Merry Christmas to you and yours and especially to that precious daughter of yours. Enjoy this time with her.

  7. Santa always brings me chocolate; I make sure of that!

Your loft looks so festive! To me it never feels truly XMas-y without snow; maybe next year I'll get to my parents' place in Maine for the holidays. This year it's just me and hubs and the kitties.
