I was so excited to hear from you, but I know that you are in good hands with Rosa! You are truly in one of the most magical places in the world. Enjoy it, but I do hope that you get out of there safely and being that the train is the only way to get out, other than walking, I am sure you will be out soon. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI have long wanted to go to machu piccu. It is one of the magnetic centers of the earth and very good for artists!
ReplyDeleteWe have been to several of those places, most recently Taos.
glen: I am so jealous, I was stranded in traffic, you get stranded in machu piccu
Well, if you have to be stuck somewhere, that's not too shabby! Hope you are liberated soon. You better come back home! hehehe.
ReplyDeleteWow...you are right, magical! If you're walking out it's a good thing you bought those rain jackets, etc! Hooray for good gear and so much for a few extra days relaxing at the hotel!
ReplyDeletep.s. If I'm going to tell the quilt guild they can put a ribbon on your quilt, you gotta come home and see it! :) Hope you get out soon my friend!

ReplyDeleteA nice place to be stranded, safe travels. And enjoying your guest bloggers. Love you all!
ReplyDeletegood luck and hope you all get out of there safely. I had thought it was just a place to see the sites - do they actually have a place for the visitors stranded to stay? I have always wanted to see that place, it looks so beautiful and mystical.

ReplyDeleteWow, best of luck getting back down the mountain, but it sounds like an incredible place to visit (and get stuck)! Will you be back for the Empire quilt show? You're not missing much in NYC...except for some snow (seriously)!
ReplyDeleteWow!! Who could have ever guessed? What an amazing adventure on top of just being able go to Maccu Picchu. Soak up all the wondrous spirit of the place, make it out safely and eat purple potatoes with maize. Bonnie
