head in the clouds

I have had my head in the clouds the last couple days... This quilt it nearly done,
and I can not wait to start quilting it!  Finish those borders tomorrow, and get it basted!
Another rainy day here, kept me indoors floating on clouds!
I'm so pleased with the way it turned out... It's just dreamy, isn't it?

I was thinking about those summer days,
when it's bright and glorious, and yet you see the moon
up in the sky! The golds, blues and purples the light makes...
bits of sunlight dappling
the air with light fragments...

I think it will be perfect for the wee BOY it is being made for...

Pure play, pure joy.

OH, JOY! That reminds me...
This little giftie arrived at her new home today... go "celebrate"

 Do you remember Philip?
He is making this quilt as part of his community service hours...
He will be donating it to BASICS.  Look how far he has gotten!
click to see past posts on Philip!

It's looking great! Keep up the good work!

I'm in Heaven.... Look what has finally arrived!
I have been putting off finishing two quilts until this line came out...
purple!!! Orange!!!! DIVINE!

Double bonus, her new book is out!

(stay tuned for a giveaway...)

Got some playing to do, if you will excuse me...

What shall I do with these beauties???
any ideas??

Do you have an inspiring WORD
to share to send me on my creative path?

  1. Love your cloud quilt. Rainy days are perfect for staying inside and dreaming of summer (as are awful, snowy days - but no such luck, gotta trudge to work in it).

Have fun playing with your new BRIGHT fabric!
