Preparing for QuiltCon

Laura is busy cutting BUNDLES to take to QuiltCon!
The VFW Quilts Staff is hard at work getting all our inventory ready for vending at QuiltCon! Fabric bundles, and bolts and all my templates and goodies will be available for you there! Road trip! We will be Booth #338!  Will you be there?  Come by and Say Hi! Not going to  QuiltCon? That's OK, you can visit my webshop or my NYC STORE! ( and get your goodies now!)

Laura and Kim will be working the booth, I'll be around, but will be teaching all day Thursday and Friday... I'll sneak in at lunch time to say hi. Saturday I will be in the booth, before I fly off to California to Empty Spools Seminars to teach a five day Double Wedding Ring Class.

Besides finishing up NEW quilt patterns and products for QuiltCon, I am finishing up this customer quilt. It's so much fun! I just love this quilt. She loves all color and Black and White, so... Here's my interpretation of that! It has all kinds  of crazy-fun-fabrics inside of it... I'll have this wrapped up by Thursday.  These larger shapes go together so nicely and get big fast!   Then work on a border... Stay tuned!  This quilt is a version of my Bright Lights Big City Quilt... pattern is in my Double Wedding ring Book

I wanted to thank you all for you thoughtful comments on The Quilt Show Episode. I asked that question to see what rings true for people. So thank you for sharing what you tips you picked up on. It's helpful to me as a teacher!

And I suppose you are awaiting the Winner of the Double Wedding Ring templates, right??
The winner for this post, is:  KAY!

Congrats Kay!
And thank you for your comments! It encourages me to blog more, if I hear your thoughts. ;-)

  1. What a fun quilt; there are enough interesting fabrics in it to keep somebody busy for years.
It was so much fun to see your shop and meet Crystal, I loved hearing about her experience making costumes. Something I knew nothing about before.
    See you in Savannah!
