What a day.

Did you survive the QuiltCon mad dash to register? Did you get your choice classes? I can't wait to see some of you there!

I had a very exciting day! I started my day off by doing The Morning Blend TV show this morning. You maybe can see the link here... I have not watched it yet...  (seems awkward.... LOL)

Beatrice was taking pictures of me, although I can tell you she loved sitting in the Anchors desk, watching us from a distance...

After the show,  We picked up my husband at the airport, and drove to the Museum to see the quilts hanging in the Traditions exhibit at the Wisconsin Museum of Quilts & Fiber Arts. A little peak below... I need to bring my good camera tomorrow.

It was a very surreal moment to walk through to see my quilts hung next to Mary A. McElwain's quilts.

Four of my star quilts, that were recently in the Quilt Life article, are also hanging...

Thank you to the Wisconsin Museum of Quilts and Fiber Arts.
I'm very touched, humbled and honored, to have my quilts hanging in your space.

  7. What a wonderful show, thanks for sharing the pics! I'm coming to QuiltCon from Australia (1.00 am registration for us - we were all slightly hysterical from tiredness by the time we started the mad-clicking-frenzy to register!). I'm very excited to be coming to your Creativity lecture on the Saturday - and my friend Lorena is in your Strings of Blooms class that day. Cat

  9. Great job in the interview! I was lucky and got signed up for everything I wanted at QuiltCon! I will be attending your lecture. It took about a half hour to get signed up. A lot of time just watching that symbol going in circles.

  17. Wow...congratulations. That must be really amazing to have your work (and so much of it) hanging in the museum. Humbling, indeed. Small town girl gets famous! Awesome. PS Got into your class at QuiltCon, and yes, registration was fairly nerve wracking, but successful!

Your interview was very nice, good job Victoria. Hope you are having a nice decompress couple of days before the big weekend at the museum.
I'm the one that you featured on your 15 minutes of play tab, I think you titled it little bits.
The sun is finally shining here in Wisconsin. Have a lovely day.
