Yes, I collect polyester quilts… perhaps you saw the Story in Generation Q magazine with my mug on the cover?
Well, My partner in that article, Bill Volckening, had this polyester patchwork jacket and thought, Victoria's must have this! (of course I'd be thrilled to have it, and possibly even wear it.) I have to say, I just might have to do that! It's even lined so that spongey scratchy polyester is only on the outside. ;-) sweet!
You can see how sleeping under my grandmother's quilts as a child really rubbed off on my color palette in my quilts, right? The colors will never FADE! Nor will it deteriorate! LOL! I think I can totally rock this… Don't you think? be prepared.. If you take a class with me, you just might see me in this jacket. Thanks BILL! You weren't the only one this week who thought I needed some polyester clothing…. read on.
A few days before, My friend Diane, swung by to hand deliver a polyester SUN DRESS for me! ROFL! Can you Believe this? I'm not sure I can get this one on… It just makes me giggle, so much!
A BELT BUCKLE, from the elastic they used is still intact and was sewed INTO the dress…
that should hit me right about my belly button. Comfortable! hahahah! Isn't it hilarious?
Oh, it's not hard to amuse me… I absolutely love it...
And, just this week, I was playing in my own, 40 gallon bin of polyester fabrics . Jealous aren't you?
These two don't seem to be amused…
Hope I amused you on this FRIDAY!!!! Happy weekend!
