BRAIN POP!

While I was in Sydney with Kathy at Material Obsession, I grabbed a few of her templates to play with and use during the workshops... This si what I started while I was there...
It is a great example of how play can bring on your own inspiration, direct from what you MAKE yourself!
MAKE YOUR INSPIRATION through PLAY!

I made this thinking, gosh, that was fun...maybe I should make a whole quilt out of it?
But then, one idea lead me to another, and, I had a light bulb moment!
Now, this is the start of my next community quilt project! All built around the sun!

I'm walking on the SUNNY side of the street today, all because of my PLAY!

  2. how neat - I would not have thought to do a block like that with piecing your "made fabric" but as long as the star is with the right fabric and stands out it is great.

  9. Brilliant on its own. Perhaps the middle of a medallion quilt?
