BASICS NYC EVENT : QUILTS GET HOMES: NY12

Another BIG batch of quilts found home today through my

MANY MANY THANKS came today as
ALL YOUR DONATED QUILTS
were given to their new owners.

Your names were read aloud, People were all smiles,
and many wanted me to be sure to thank each and
everyone of you for your generosity!
 THANK YOU!!!!

New York 12 news was there and interviewed me, (eek!)
And footage was shot of the event... I am waiting for the link to share with you!

Then Molly Rokasy, reporter from the NY12 station looked at the table and a label on a quilt,
and recognized a NAME of a WOMAN
she went to school with in a small town in OHIO!

How wild is that?

The world gets smaller and smaller!

THANK You to my friend, Andrea for helping me once again,
  deliver these beautiful quilts!

I so appreciate as my friend, and helper!!!

Do you see any of your quilts here?

We took a lot of pictures, but not everyone wanted their picture taken...
More pics will be up at the

site soon...

 Keep the quilts coming!
Please go to the site for information on where to send your quilts...

Thank you so much!

  2. So touching. The photos bring tears to my eyes. Can they take gently used, clean quilts?

  3. Wonderful to see the quilts going to homes that will appreciate them and know that other's do care. Still waiting for my machine to get back from the shop. I got a tumbler die and think that would be good to try my first charity quilt with.
