wrap up...

I feel like I got a lot done this week, despite being sick.
Once I got everything done that I HAD too for Christmas, I got excited to finish a bunch of things that have been collecting dust.... and to start a little something new...(above)
All my unfinished little blocks, squares from scraps...It's all going into this kitchen sink quilt.... Whatever is laying around here, will go into this scrappy quilt....

All ready for binding....

Bind.....

Bindings set.

Flimsy finished...(FINALLY! ....WOO HOO!!)

B stayed home again today, coughing like mad...
But thankfully she was well enough yesterday to make it to her School Holiday Sing along...
Her school makes bags for Gods Love we Deliver, so that they can distribute food to the folks who need, using the bags our school decorate. Until we give them the bags, the decorate our meeting house... Isn't it fun? It fills the room & hearts with love.

Have a lovely weekend!
Happy Sewing!

  1. The bags look fabulous, they will be gratefully received I'm sure. I can't wait to see the kitchen sink quilt. What a fabulous name, it says it all "everything but the kitchen sink!".

  4. I've got something very similar on the go to your Kitchen Sink quilt, except I've got it organized by colour. But not every piece is making it in. Hmm, new idea now.

    What a great school shot!
