get well update

WOO Hoo! Yippeee! I am about finished with the Get Well soon quilt. I procrastinated finishing this for so long!!! Actually, I'm thinking that, sub consciously, not finishing it meant, NO ONE could get sick... ha! Now that I am about done with it, how long before someone will need to use it? time will tell!
I'll post more about this project over at LAzy Gals ...

**********

My hubby and I had a date night last night, and we saw
Clint Eastwoods new movie,

Gran Torino.
Done as only Clint can do, he shot this movie in about 22 days. It's heavy, and wonderful, and packs a powerful punch.
A must see.

Have a great weekend everyone!

  1. Oh I love this quilt! It's bright fun cheerful great job! I haven't tried to make any of the letters from Tonya's site. This quilt certainly inspires me to give them a try. Oh almost forgot.....I feel a little feverish and have a slight cough LOL

  4. This quilt is adorable. So what is the plan for this one?

Clint Eastwood is so awesome. I want to go see this movie soon. I knew it would be good. My SIL gave me the dvd set of all the Dirty Harry movies. I haven't watched them yet.

  6. Flipping channels last night, we came across one of Clint Eastwood's first movies -- so YOUNG! He's had an amazing career. I can't bring myself to watch the old westerns, but I like his new stuff a lot.
